This scale has some great features including a huge display panel that is very easy to see, a large enough platform on which to stand comfortably (even for big-footed critters such as myself!), and a surface that is easy to keep clean. My only complaint is that the batteries don't last very long. I've had this scale for almost 2 years, and have had to change the battery only once. It's been reliable and I've had no problems with it at all.

I am very happy with this scale. It gives the same reading no matter how often you step on and off. The last electronic scale I had required numerous weighings until you got the same reading at least three times in a row. I've checked it against my doctor's scales, and it is within one pound of his. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because of it's slightly slippery and rounded surface. I don't really feel unsafe using it, just a bit uncomfortable.

It's also light work to step onto this scale, which has a very flat profile design.

It is a nice scale and I am very happy with my selection. The results are very repeatable. Trying the scale several times, I would usually get the same result. Occasionally, I can get a .2 to .4 pound variation in readings. Sometimes, the difference was caused by stepping on the scale with the opposite foot. Still, I consider even a .4 lb max difference in readings to be very good. Like others have said, it has a large platform and is durable yet lightweight.

I recently moved and didnt bring my old scale. I purchased the Seca Robusta to replace it. I love the scales look and the extra wide platform. It comes set to Kg, but there is a button on the back side to set it to Lbs. I find the scale to be very accurate!

When I got this scale and first stepped on it, I was dumbfounded! I am 5 feet 11 inches tall, and yet my weight had miraculously dipped way below 3 digits...incredible. But, alas, I quickly discovered the reason was because this ridiculous "sold only in the U.S." (read the description on Amazon) scale has its weight readings in kilograms, not pounds. Makes perfect sense...NOT!! I especially was delighted to find this out because nowhere in the product description was this mentioned. If I knew that I was going to have to do math each time I jumped on the scale, I certainly would have made a different purchase (there are at least 100 to 150 scales on Amazon alone). Ridiculous!!
